Here's what's New:
Weekend of February 5-7:
Atlanta, GA and rain, rain, rain and cold!!
What a great weekend for the Turtlecreek gang, though, at the Cherokee Rose Cluster shows. The Rally ring saw 2 legs on a title for Willie, Judy Brinson's boy, and then Willie went right into the breed ring, where he won his class (6-9 puppy dog) every day. And this boy is studying up for his JH as well, so huge congrats to Judy on Willie- Ridgehaven's On the Road Again.
Bogie, aka Goodtime's Tokyo Joe RN Pedigree link belonging to Belinda Gosnell made the cut in a huge and very competitive Open Dog class.
Jitter, aka My Buddy's Jitterbug..Jitterbug Pedigree link belonging to Kim made the cut in a huge and competitive Open Bitch class- both Dogs and Bitches were majors.
AND last but not least, the Flat-Coated Retriever Teague- first weekend out on this side of the border was RWD, RWD, and then when it really counted, was WD for a 3 point major under judge Nancy Liebes.
So yay~!~ for CAN CH Timberblac's All Hands on Deck and Jennifer Martin. This is the second FCR that she's sent to Turtlecreek, and Teague is son of Dallas, who was here last year (see numerous entries on 2009 titles page).
As one of the rare weekends Turtlecreek hits conformation shows, this weekend points out most elegantly that the dogs here are in hard working condition- and able to shine in the field one weekend and the show ring the next.
Weekend of January 30:
Okeechobee, Florida and one little girl, sweet sweet Jelly... Grinning's In a Jam RN WC http://www.k9data.com/pedigree.asp?ID=330909 owned by Meggan Ballard got her third JH leg, successfully pouncing up a winged duck who was still flapping as she delivered to hand. THAT's how it is done! Jelly just turned a year, has had to make a quick trip home and will grab that last leg in the Carolinas later on this spring. Congrats to Meggan on an amazing Golden!
Weekend of December 5
found Kim in Patrick SC at the Palmetto Retriever Club hunt tests, and a great weekend it was!
Jelly, pretty girl in a pink collar and lead (not quite 11 months old and 12 weeks into training) came to the line to chuckles and teases about a dog named 'Jelly' and it was said that 'a dog that cute couldn't possibly retrieve'... so this little show Golden proceeded to show them just how it was done. Only 11 of the 30 dogs entered qualified, and Miss Jelly was one of them. It was a good weekend for Kim and her clients:

Weekend of Nov 27-29, Savannah Kennel Club in a new location- at last no rain or flooding to contend with! We had a great weekend just made for the young girls and their first titles-
Lola- owned by Peggy Zionts and Donna Pace is now DonGlen's Lola lo-lo-lo-lo-Lola RN Pedigree link three for three, with a first and a third place.
Jelly- owned by Meggan Ballard is now Grinning's In A Jam RN Pedigree link three for three and a placement too!
November 21, 2009
Kim went to the Sandlapper GRC's CCA event in Fountain Inn, SC at Connie Cleveland's wonderful facility. They came home with new CCA titles on Katie (Lakewood's Kiss my Irish Lass CD RN JH WCX CCA- Pedigree link owned and bred by Paula Veibl),
Teal ( Whitebirch Darbyhill Teal a Kiss WC CCA- Pedigree link bred by Gayle Haak and owned by Gayle and Carole Dunn),
Macy (Gold-Rush Don't Rain on My Parade CCA Pedigree link bred by R.Ann Johnson and owned by Stephen and Frances Brentson), and Georgia
(Prism's Move Over in Georgia Pedigree link bred by Robin Bowen and Maxie Bowen and owned by Rosie Mitchell).
Congratulations to all, and hats off to Sandlapper for a wonderfully successful educational event.

Midways through November-
It has been busy- we've done WC/WCX tests, driven north, and driven south- but last weekend was the bomb~
Mousse, Briggs, and Jelly all earned JH legs!

October 24 weekend-
Sheeting rains came through Elkton MD but Mousse and Briggs were successful in earning their first JH legs!
Hooray for them!
October 17 weekend-
Brought some wonderful scores and new titles to Turtlecreek Sporting Dogs and clients-
The Martin's girl Dallas, CH Ebonaire's Party Past Midnight RA JH WC, earned her RA with scores all in the 90's.
Mousse, Stormy Point's Paris' Decadent Desert RN earned that RN with placements! This is Kelly Brown's beautiful girl and a first title.
Toni, Affinity's One Singular Sensation RN earned her RN at only 8 months of age for her happy breeder owners, the Ippels, and
Lucky, Jason Caldwell's boy Lakewood's Getting Lucky While the Sun's Shining RN earned Jason's first performance title.
Weekend of September 19:
Kim was in Atlanta, GA and all the dogs earned qualifying Rally legs under Judge David Haddock and we're going to call these the Monsoon Legs....it rained non-stop from arrival to departure!
Congrats go to all three owners on their dogs' great scores!
Jason Caldwell for Lucky's qualifying- Lucky is Lakewood's Getting Lucky While the Sun Is Still Shining.
Kelly Brown and Jan Grasso for Mousse's qualifying- Mousse is Stormy Point's Paris's Decadent Desert.
Jack and Karen Ippel for Toni's qualifying- Toni is Affinity's Singular Sensation.
AND Kim's own bitch, Jitter (My Buddy's Jitterbug..Jitterbug) made the cut in a very competive Open Bitch class every day.
AUGUST 2009
Congratulations go to Terrie Pennington and Sally Rowland on Honeykyst Calypso's TA-DAA! RN on her new JH! Go Dazzle!
Weekend of July 25, New York
Elsa, owned by Jovonnie Androy earned her JH today too, she is now Goldengael-Gorca's Born Free RN JH Pedigree link
Hillside's Special Event (Eve) owned by Pamela Leslie earned her first JH legs this weekend as well.
Dazzle (Honeykyst Calypso's TA-DAA! RN) owned by Terrie Pennington and Sally Rowland, put in a fabulous performance and qualified.
Weekend of July 11 and 12, New York- FingerLakes Retriever Club had a huge entry with lots of Goldens and FlatCoats- but none so special as the ones Kim had with her! In all this heat, these wonderful dogs proved they are not only beautiful but also able to do what they were meant to do-

Orlando June 18:
Briggs ( CH Calypso Purr-Cedes Benz RN -Becraft ) finished Rally Novice title with a third place at the Mid-Florida GRC Specialty in hot, hot Orlando.
Dallas (CH Ebonaire Party Past Midnight, RN WC- Martin) earned a Rally Advanced leg and a Novice (CD) leg at the MFGRC specialty.
June 13 and 14-
Dallas and Elsa earned qualifiying legs in Baldwinsville, NY this weekend. Elsa is Goldengael Gorca's Born Free, RN (Androy and Dallas is CH Ebonaire Party Past Midnight RN WC (Martin)
