FEES AND CONDITIONS

PAY PAL is now available to pay your monthly bill with Turtlecreek
due to popular request. Many of you want to earn miles,
etc. and charge your training on a particular card. With PayPal,
you can do that now!


A deposit of $350.00 is due at time of reservation.
(Deposit to be applied to final bill)

Airport charge to pick up or deliver will be charged according to distance.

All veterinarian visits with your dog will require your credit card information at time of visit,
and a charge of $25 will be assessed for the trip.

If monthly payment is not recieved within fourteen (14) days of billing a $100 late fee will be added to the unpaid balance.

Dogs must arrive free of all internal and external parasites. You must provide a Health
Certificate showing your dog to be free of all internal parasites or provide adequate drontal dosage for us to administer upon your dogs arrival.

Six months worth of Heartworm preventative and topical flea/tick treatment must accompany your dog.

We currently feed  Purina PRO Plan  Chicken and Rice and  any other feed choices must be provided by owner. Supplements other than Vitamin C to be supplied by owner.


TRAINING FEES

Hunt Test Training - UKC & AKC All levels $750.00 monthly
This includes obedience training for AKC and/or UKC Obedience trials

Puppy Kindergarten $550.00 monthly

Gun Dog / Bird Dog training $600.00 monthly

Obedience only $750 monthly

Boarding $15.00 daily if your dog is not in training with us.

Show Roadwork/Swim/Coat Conditioning - $5 additional charge per day whether boarding or training status. Please let us know what products you prefer for coat conditioning.

HANDLING FEES

Per hunt test or obedience trial, $60 handling fee per event. Travel/expenses will be divided among the clients. We travel as inexpensively as possible, and respect and value our clients' resources.
Northern tests (across the Mason-Dixon line) $50.00 additional per trip per dog.

Breeding/Stud Service Fees

There are dogs in our kennel for training who  are more available here than they will be when they go home. Once an agreement has been made with any stud dog’s owner, we will manage his breeding to your bitch and she may stay here for a week in order to accomplish this at a cost of $150 over and above what you have determined as a stud fee to the stud dog’s owner.  She will be bred as often as she will stand on a daily basis
or as you would like.  AI services are also available, just ask.

IN-HOME RESIDENCY AT TURTLECREEK

We realize some dogs will bring their best learning and performance to the table only if they are in a home environment rather than a kennel setting. It can save a tremendous amount of time in some cases.
If you believe this is the case with your dog, we believe you would be best served by waiting until a 'home position' is available. We take two dogs per month into our home at an additional charge of $150 per month. Those dogs are couch dogs when they are not training if we are home.  In order to be considered for a house dog position, your dog must be either in our puppy kindergarten program or be a house dog currently. 
If your dog would learn and perform at a rate faster in this situation, it will be a best use of your resources to wait for a position for your dog in our home.  Contact us for information.

Gas prices have been increased, then decreased, then increased again-  and we have managed to keep our rates consistent for two years of gasoline inconsistencies and all the other costs that change with fuel fluctuations. As in 2008, we are going to try and hold our rates and will notify any incoming dogs' owners of an upcoming increase if we see we cannot avoid it. As always, any dog currently in our program will continue to be trained and trialled at the same rate he came in on. Thank you for understanding that we are doing our best to keep costs level for all our sakes.
